2. Data We Collect
We collect the following categories of personal data:
- Contact information — your name, email address, and phone number. Your phone number is used as your login identifier.
- Vision and prescription information — prescription type, add power, and related optical details used to help you order the correct lenses.
- Patient records — where you use the Services as an optical professional to create a patient record, we collect the patient details you enter, which may include the patient's name, date of birth, gender, city, and prescription. If you enter another person's details, you confirm you are authorised to do so.
- Loyalty information — where you join our loyalty program, we collect your birthday (month and day) to provide birthday benefits, along with your loyalty activity and rewards.
- Purchase and transaction information — your order history, purchase dates, transaction totals, and lens preferences.
- Account identifiers — internal user and customer identifiers used to manage your account and link your orders and loyalty records.
- Diagnostic data — crash reports and performance data, collected to keep the app stable and secure.
We do not knowingly collect data from children for their own accounts. The Services are intended for adults.

4. AI-Assisted Recommendations
Our AI Lens Advisor uses third-party AI processing to generate lens guidance. When you use this feature, the content of your conversation and relevant prescription values are processed to produce a recommendation. We minimise this data: direct identifiers such as your name and phone number are not required for the AI to generate guidance, and prescription information is processed as optical values.
AI recommendations and thickness estimates are guidance only, based on standard optical formulas, and are not a substitute for professional advice from a qualified optometrist or ophthalmologist.
5. How We Share Your Data
We do not sell your personal data. We do not use your data for third-party advertising, and we do not share it with data brokers.
We share data only with service providers who help us operate the Services, under appropriate data protection terms:
- Hosting and database — our infrastructure provider stores platform data in encrypted form.
- AI processing — our AI provider processes conversation and prescription values to generate recommendations, under terms that prohibit using this data to train their models.
- Communications — providers that deliver email, notifications, and (where you opt in) messaging.
- Partner optical retailers — where you engage with a specific partner shop, relevant order data is shared with that partner to fulfil your order.
We may also disclose data where required by law or competent authority.
6. Where Your Data Is Stored
Your personal data is stored in encrypted form by our infrastructure provider. Some processing, such as AI inference, may involve transfer outside Saudi Arabia. Where this occurs, we apply safeguards including data minimisation and contractual protections consistent with PDPL cross-border transfer requirements.
7. How Long We Keep Your Data
We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. When data is no longer required, we delete or anonymise it.

Under the PDPL, you have the right to:

- Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data
- Request deletion of your data, subject to legal retention requirements
